A module that can be connected with a compatible electrosurgical unit (16.0065 and 16.0070) and, compatible applicators and probes, specific for coagulation electrosurgical procedures with Argon gas, indicated for both open surgery, and laparoscopy.

Argon is an inert gas that used in combination with specific currents for high frequency coagulation generated by an electrosurgical unit, allows to obtain a superficial coagulation without contact thanks to the ionisation of the gas through the high frequency current.
