Braun i-Scan – Dual View
The i-Scan is a radically innovative personnel inspection system that utilises low dose transmission x-ray and generates high quality images.
This technology, based on slot scan principals, makes it possible to obtain a clear image of concealed items (whatever the material) within clothing or the body.
The i-Scan is available in single view model to display a full head to toe image or this dual view model which adds a 2nd high resolution torso view on dual monitors.
The Braun i-Scan Dual View is an advanced personal screening system with enhanced detection capabilities that can detect:
- Narcotics hidden in body cavities
- Electronics and detonators
- Explosives and liquids
- Ceramics and plastic knives and blades
- Weapons
- Electronic devices
- Precious stones and metals
- Any objects that can be considered as dangerous or prohibited for a particular use
The Braun i-Scan Dual View provides 2 independent views improving the operators detection capability.
The 2nd view is generated at a different angle from the full body view. This provides the operator with the uniquely valuable benefit of two images to compare. Just like the full body view, the settings are independently adjustable from 0.10uSv per scan to 4.5uSv. Additionally, the system can be operated as a single view unit.
Automatic drug detection software
- This intelligent software analyses the X-ray images received on Braun i-Scan body scanner and highlights narcotics hidden in the torso zone of an inspected person.
- The digital technology of drug identification was designed in order to create a less operator dependent image analysis and to simplify and speed up the inspection procedure.
